Established in 1995, sys-tek is an expert technical commissioning and consulting firm. Our commissioning services leverage 30 years of hands-on experience, and we are more than just a list checker generating deficiency reports; we are experts who ensure systems work as intended and designed. Our approach to Commissioning saves money on total project costs by reducing callbacks and construction time by integrating all trades involved. We do not use traditional methods of simply showing up at the job site and creating a punch list without recommendations. At sys-tek, we work as a team during the commissioning process. We will provide direction to make live adjustments with the focus on getting systems operating correctly and maximizing overall efficiency.

sys-tek is an agile company and can meet demanding scheduling requirements, and we expedite the completion of required documentation and reports needed for IECC requirements for obtaining occupancy permits required by local code authorities. By doing this, we provide additional savings and improve the experience of transitioning the project from construction to owner acceptance.

Cutting-edge test equipment, in conjunction with a technical staff proficient in analyzing and interpreting data, is used to identify the causes of malfunctions, data corruption, and degraded performance. In addition, sys-tek acts as a third-party independent testing agency to certify that critical components comply with their specifications. Third-party testing is also helpful for establishing the initial conditions for warranty purposes.

sys-tek is the only truly Commissioning Authority in Kansas City.  Meaning we are not owned or affiliated with any Architect, Engineering firm, or equipment supplier and manufacturer.  Therefore, we have no axe to grind to one-up the competition.  This fosters a genuine team atmosphere for your project, where all stakeholders feel secure in openly communicating and resolving any issues that may arise during the commissioning process.  We are an experienced team that knows how to listen and communicate.
