This was a data center expansion project for an existing facility used to verify checks and credit cards at different Bass Pro Shop facilities throughout the country
The existing data center was on a raised floor, using down flow air conditioning units and an existing FM-200 fire supression system. Power systems included a single UPS module with three power distribution units (PDU’s).
The project scope included building out a 1,000 square foot expansion to their existing data center, installing one new PDU connected to the existing UPS system, and a new down flow air conditioning unit.
Project criteria required all work to be completed without any interruption to the existing facility, including power and cooling systems. To manage this, we provided a full-time project superintendent who interfaced with the sub-contractors and owner to insure continuous uptime.
Our engineering division provided all architectural and engineering services, including commissioning and start-up for the newly installed equipment.
