EXPERIENCEData Centers High Security Tier IV Data Center Designed for F-5 Tornado Forces- This 50,000 square-foot (raised floor) data center with a budget of $56M included redundancy in all HVAC systems. The system utilized water-cooled Liebert A/C systems. The data center heat rejection loops included two piping and pumping systems, in case one system fails or is ruptured. The facility has been designed to withstand seismic events and F-5 tornadoes. Much of the facility is below grade. Special attention was given to cooling towers for protection from tornado activity. This project was completed in April 2003. Call Centers AT&T Call Center Management Center (Marietta, Georgia)- This former manufacturing facility was converted to a 250,000 square-foot call center. The system includes large variable air volume roof top equipment with VAV and fan powered VAV terminal unites, including computer/server rooms with Liebert type A/C equipment. Complete design and construction was achieved in approximately seven months. Stream Projects- These projects (5) include various Call/Data Centers located throughout the United States, Canada and Amsterdam. Most of these projects range from 60,000 to 100,000 square feet. The mechanical systems are typically rooftop units with Liebert type equipment serving computer/server rooms. Projects include Glace Bay Nova Scotia, Chilliwack British Columbia Silver City New Mexico, and Amsterdam. Office Facilities Federal Express Regional Administration Complex (Buffalo Groves, Illinois)- 110,000 square-feet, 4-story office/call center, including data/server dispatch and office areas, ACD, UPS, and emergency generator. The HVAC system in the office areas consists of three direst expansion VAV units serving fan powered and variable air volume units. The areas of the facility served by each system were segregated to take advantage of the differing building operating schedules with the building. EDUCATION
